Hello and Welcome!

KAREN MISTLIN:  COUNSELLOR AND COGNITIVE HYPNOTHERAPIST

I hope the information offered on this site answers what you need to know about Counselling , Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Hypnotherapy and how it can help you. When working with clients my hope is to help and encourage a happier and more peaceful state of mind, to be able to embrace and enjoy life as much as possible.

So often people can be held back from reaching their fullest potential due to limiting beliefs and past negative life experiences. In my practice working collaboratively with people it has been wonderful to watch how  through personal development, increased self awareness, learning new skills can create more resilient and happier lives.

My practice is called SPACE2Be because it is rare these days to to find time to just BE we are all so pre-occupied with DOING. I endeavour to offer my clients a place to give time to themselves amidst the busy and demanding lives they lead.

I offer confidential therapy, with adults and young people (13 +) and in the following areas:

Anger & Conflict – Anxiety & Stress –  Low Confidence & Self-esteem – Loss & Separation –Depression – Life Changes – Relationship Issues – Sexuality – Negative Thinking – Exam Stress – Limiting Beliefs – Teenage Issues – Phobias – Public Speaking Confidence – Self Sabotage

How to start therapy?

Throughout the initial call or email we can have a brief chat and I can answer any questions you may have. If you decide you would like to meet we can arrange a session. If you choose to come for Counselling or Cognitive Hypnotherapy we will agree a time and frequency of sessions.

If you need flexibility this can be arranged. I offer long or short-term therapy with appointments available throughout the daytime and evenings.

Where Am I?

My practice is based in Rickmansworth Hertfordshire, close the the main line station (Metropolitan Line). Off street parking is available.

I am a Service Provider for WPA, Cigna and Pru Health
